Defibrillator

An AED for emergency use is located on the wall to the right of the main door of Churt Village Hall, which is at Crossways on the A287 in the centre of Churt.

When is an AED needed? An AED is used to revive someone from sudden cardiac arrest. This is when the heart suddenly stops pumping properly. Defibrillators should be used alongside cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).​​

In an emergency, just follow the instructions which are on the defibrillator.
