Churt and Hindhead Cricket Club
Overview
In 2022 Churt CC and Hindhead CC merged to form Churt and Hindhead Cricket Club. There are many reasons to get involved with the club. We have a vibrant junior section (160+ children, 40% girls), womens cricket, four Saturday teams across I'Anson and Surrey leagues, mid-week T20, and two stunning grounds.
History
Churt CC was established in 1875 (soon to be 150yrs old), with Club Colours of Green & Yellow. The club currently plays at The Recreation Ground in the heart of Churt Village, but the club has not always played in the village; for about the first 40 years the club played on Frensham Common. It was a founder member of the I’Anson and Miller competitions and serial winners of both, the last title coming in 1991 before the Club entered the Fullers County League. The Saturday 1st XI gained promotion from the Fullers County League to the Surrey Championship in 1998. Hindhead Cricket Club was established in 1910.
Mens Teams
1st XI currently play in Division 5 of the Surrey Championship.
2nd XI currently play in Division 2 of the 2nd XI Fullers County League.
3rd XI & 4XI play in the I`Anson competition (local cricket)

Juniors
We support cricket development for Girls and Boys across U7-13s, entering several league teams at each age group within Surrey Junior Cricket. Junior training is delivered on Friday nights by Martin Bicknell Cricket Academy and the club run a BBQ and Bar. Sign up here.
Social
To supplement BBQ and Drinks on Friday evenings, there is a thriving social calendar with multiple events during the season including a Charity Race Night, Charity 20:20 match v Akuma Beavers, a Presidents Day fixture and an Annual Awards Dinner.
We are always looking for volunteers to extend the club social calendar.
